Ladismith Cheese Company (Pty) Ltd was founded in June 1999 and cheese production started in a brand new factory on 1 November 1999. The quality products from Ladismith cheeses are now available in supermarkets throughout the major centres of South Africa and Zimbabwe through the local distributor
The Cheeseman. Over the time production of different type of cheeses such as Gouda, Cheddar, Edam, matured Cheddar and Green Pepper Cheddar has increased. Recently two new creamy semi-hard cheeses, named Ladismither and Old Ladismither, have been added to the range. Ladismith also produces powder products like milk powder, buttermilk, milk blends and coffee creamers.
