Tony’s scoops triple awards
Tony’s is something of a legendary coffee shop which for many years has delighted visitors to the beautiful Bvumba mountains.  Much talked about, word of mouth has it that a visit to the Bvumba would simply not be complete without sampling the delicious fares and indeed, the whole experience offered there.  Indeed, who could resist sampling the latest creations – the particular cakes offered on the day of their sortie to experience Tony’s, when described with the rapture, enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for his subject, for which Tony is famous!  Along with the almost metre-long menu, listing every imaginable variation on the themes of tea, coffee and cake, and the sheer personality Tony brings to each table, this winning combination is hard to beat!

Winner of Coffee Shop of the Year every year since he entered, Tony Robinson once again scooped Coffee Shop of the Year, for both 2009 and 2010.  What he did not foresee, however, during the Awards Ceremony, was his third award of the day!

Tony’s was found over many years and throughout many challenges, consistently to have delivered an extraordinary experience to any traveller who goes there to partake of its famous, outstandingly delicious cakes, imaginative teas and coffees, and an all round excellent experience which fully evokes the Wow! Factor.  Accordingly, Tony also scooped the much coveted Award of Excellence.  Each year, this Award goes to an exceptional restaurant which the judges deem has consistently excelled itself in every way, delivering a unique dining experience to the highest of standards in every aspect.
